Job Description

The Low Voltage and Networking Sales Manager role at D1 Networks is based onsite in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and government sectors, building a strong pipeline, and coordinating with estimating, operations, project management, and leadership to deliver tailored technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and government sectors.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for prospective and existing clients.
  • Build and nurture relationships with general contractors, IT directors, facilities managers, and consultants.
  • Conduct needs assessments and recommend technology solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop accurate proposals and estimates.
  • Prepare and present presentations, proposals, and responses to RFPs.
  • Qualify leads to determine project fit, timing, budget, decision-makers, and next steps.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and activity tracking with regular KPI reporting.
  • Research target industries and accounts to support D1 Networks' growth strategy.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 7+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in low voltage, construction, or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong understanding of low voltage systems and construction processes.
  • Experience working with contractors, architects, and IT stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (eg, Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, NFPA).

Compensation

  • Base salary starting at $70,000 per year plus a commission/bonus structure.
  • Salary range $70,000 to $80,000 per year.
