Job Description
Triumvirate Environmental invites you to lead a regional sales organization from our onsite location in New Braunfels, TX. This Regional Sales Director role focuses on driving growth across the Mid-Atlantic South, Southeast, and Southcentral regions, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering operational excellence. You will help shape a safety-first culture while guiding a high-performing team and partnering with executive leadership to achieve ambitious objectives.
Responsibilities
- Guide and develop the regional sales team to boost selling effectiveness, enhance client retention, and accelerate new business growth.
- Offer ongoing guidance on prospecting, opportunity management, cross-selling, negotiation, and expanding key accounts.
- Provide regular training on following the sales process, using CRM tools, proposal development, time management, and professional communication.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews, deliver constructive feedback, and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and growing top sales talent.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, teamwork, customer focus, and ongoing improvement.
- Inspire the team and model professionalism, leadership, and active customer engagement.
- Develop strategic partnerships through industry networking, associations, trade shows, and enterprise relationships.
- Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics across the region.
- Represent Triumvirate Environmental at industry events, client meetings, and executive-level discussions to strengthen brand presence.
- Drive regional revenue through new business development, strategic account management, and expanding existing client relationships.
- Assist the team in identifying and prioritizing high-value opportunities within the region.
- Work with sales teammates during customer meetings and strategic account visits to uncover additional service opportunities.
- Offer guidance on pricing, scope development, contract terms, and deal structuring.
- Assist with reviewing and approving proposals to ensure alignment with standards and profitability goals.
- Support Account Managers in maintaining financially healthy customer relationships, including timely collections.
- Ensure all terms, conditions, and operational requirements are met before closing deals.
- Use CRM and reporting tools to track pipeline, forecast accuracy, and overall sales performance against KPIs and OKRs.
- Hold team members accountable to established goals, expectations, and activity standards.
- Lead quarterly commission reviews and approvals.
- Present regional sales performance, trends, and insights to General Managers and executive leadership on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with Marketing to build strategies for customer engagement, retention, and regional growth.
- Support the rollout and adoption of new products, services, and sales initiatives across the region.
- Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring customer-facing and field activities align with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Build strong internal and external relationships, consistently delivering professionalism and service.
- Represent the organization positively with clients, prospects, and colleagues at all levels.
- Travel as needed to support customer relationships, team development, and regional objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling, prospecting strategies, account retention, and CRM.
- Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and performance through metrics, coaching, and process management.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools; familiarity with Oracle CX, Salesforce, or similar systems preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50 percent of the time, including air travel.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in environmental services, industrial services, consulting, or other regulated industries.
- Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Experience facilitating live training sessions and leading team development initiatives.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics and identify growth opportunities.
- Familiarity with performance management methodologies, employee development practices, and sales compensation structures.
- Knowledge of Triumvirate Environmental's sales process and service offerings preferred.
