Job Description
Motion Recruitment is hiring a Remote Regional Sales Manager to support the East Coast territory for an EV/AV charging company. This role owns the full sales process, partners with channel resources, and drives forecasted revenue growth through a structured, data-informed approach.
Regional Sales Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and close opportunities to meet regional demand goals.
- Develop new and existing key accounts and maintain long-term, sustainable relationships across multiple customer sectors.
- Serve as primary point of contact through the entire sales cycle, from outreach through procurement, forecasting, and revenue delivery.
- Report funnel growth progress using Salesforce.com or a comparable customer relationship management (CRM) platform.
- Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual regional sales targets.
- Supervise and evaluate rep firms and related activities within the area, providing counsel and guidance as needed.
- Conduct regular monthly channel partner funnel and performance reviews.
- Deliver accurate, timely forecasts that reflect a balanced view.
- Support development and execution of marketing and sales plans.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to refine and improve sales strategy.
- Build and refine customer-facing proposals, working with subject matter experts to include technical features and economic models.
- Act as a customer advocate within the organization.
- Analyze data to investigate the complete business situation and inform opportunity assessment and strategy.
- Support program management activities for key account and channel partner responsibilities.
- Develop and deliver presentations for tradeshows and customer meetings.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure other company teams support and integrate into the sales process.
- Travel as needed, with a minimum of 45%.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of sales, marketing, or other commercial business experience.
- Preferably experience in a low volume, highly engineered manufacturing environment.
- Technical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing processes.
- Strong business acumen, communication, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Intellectual curiosity about the industry and a creative approach to problem solving and opportunity assessment.
- Experience supervising Manufacturers Reps; experience with Distributors and Manufacturer’s Reps is required.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to build an efficient sales team.
- High energy, initiative, commitment, and professionalism.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Excellent people, communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to self-start and work independently as well as in a team.
- Superior interpersonal, oral, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions with attention to detail.
- Must be able to cold call, cold walk-in, and prospect.

Compensation and Benefits
- USD 130,000 - 155,000 per year base salary
