Job Description

The Sales Director role at AMC Talent Inc. is based onsite in Miami and focuses on accelerating U.S. sales growth, expanding the commercial network, and pursuing new opportunities within the U.S. architecture, design, and construction sectors. The position leads the U.S. sales organization and drives key strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth & Market Development: Develop and execute a precise commercial plan for the U.S. market, emphasizing revenue growth, margin protection, customer acquisition, and expanded market share.
  • Business Development: Cultivate relationships with customers and decision makers active in surfaces, mosaic, tile, stone, slab, luxury interiors, and architectural finishes sectors.
  • Distribution & Channel Management: Assess and strengthen the U.S. distribution and showroom network, identify underperforming accounts, high-potential accounts, and new strategic partners, and design structured commercial programs for distributors and showrooms.
  • A&D Engagement: Build a strong presence with architects, designers, and specification firms, implementing a systematic A&D outreach approach including presentations, lunch-and-learns, project meetings, sample follow-up, and specification tracking.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop the U.S. sales organization, set clear targets for each salesperson, territory, and channel, and foster a culture of accountability, speed, and measurable performance.
  • Commercial Execution: Maintain a tactical, hands-on approach—identifying real opportunities, visiting customers, closing deals, supporting the field team, resolving commercial obstacles, and personally following up on important accounts and projects.

Requirements

  • Eight or more years of successful sales leadership experience within the U.S. market, with background in architectural materials, interior finishes, building products, or related industries; a proven record of revenue growth and account development; a strong network among distributors, showrooms, architects, interior designers, developers, and contractors.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, developing new business, and expanding key accounts.
  • Experience managing sales teams and/or independent sales representatives.
  • Solid understanding of specification-driven and project-based sales processes.
  • Ability to develop both distribution channels and direct project opportunities.
  • Experience representing premium, luxury, or design-oriented products.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada.
