Job Description

This onsite role in Houston, TX offers a strong rewards package and a culture built on collaboration, accountability, and growth. The compensation range is USD 140,000 to 165,000 per year, and you will lead a regional sales team focused on revenue expansion, pipeline health, and strategic customer engagement within the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a regional team of Business Development Executives and Sales Professionals
  • Drive accountability for regional revenue, gross profit, net revenue, pipeline, and new logo acquisition targets
  • Set clear performance expectations and monitor progress through regular reviews and development plans
  • Lead pipeline reviews, forecast assessments, territory planning sessions, and sales performance evaluations
  • Foster a high performance culture focused on customer acquisition, retention, and profitable growth
  • Execute regional sales strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives and market opportunities
  • Support and guide team members in prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing new opportunities
  • Participate in strategic customer meetings and assist with complex opportunities and executive engagements
  • Identify market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities within the territory
  • Drive market penetration and account-based selling to increase market share
  • Maintain a healthy, sustainable pipeline capable of achieving and exceeding objectives
  • Review opportunity progression and funnel metrics to identify risks and accelerate conversions
  • Maintain forecast accuracy and provide updates on regional performance, pipeline health, and revenue attainment
  • Utilize CRM and business intelligence tools to inform data-based decision making
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, strategic prospects, and industry stakeholders
  • Support presentations, proposals, contract negotiations, and executive business reviews
  • Align CEVA solutions with customer supply chain objectives and address business challenges
  • Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, Engineering, Product Management, Finance, and Customer Success teams
  • Support implementation and onboarding to ensure smooth customer transitions
  • Share market intelligence and customer feedback to influence product development and strategy
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent; build succession plans and promote career growth
  • Promote best practices, sales methodologies, and continuous learning across the team
  • Lead by example and reinforce CEVA's values, culture, and commitment to excellence

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive sales experience within transportation, logistics, supply chain, or related industries
  • Minimum 3 years of successful sales leadership or people management experience
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams preferred
  • Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and strategic customer relationships
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities
  • Advanced consultative and solution selling expertise
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze sales performance and profitability metrics
  • Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Office, and sales analytics tools
  • Strategic planning, forecasting, and territory management expertise
