Job Description
This Spokane, WA hybrid role focuses on identifying and nurturing early-stage leads, coordinating outreach to potential clients across cutting-edge industries. Offering a competitive salary of USD 40,000 to 60,000 per year, this position requires a Bachelor’s degree and provides a clear path to professional growth within a collaborative, results-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify companies that could benefit from Johnston Engineering’s expertise based on industry fit, funding raised, R&D stage, and company size.
- Maintain and update the CRM with company details, outreach activities, and relevant industry insights.
- Stay informed on industry trends, funding rounds, and new startups in relevant sectors.
- Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other platforms to introduce Johnston Engineering and generate interest.
- Customize outreach messaging based on research to improve engagement.
- Track responses and interactions to optimize outreach strategies.
- Coordinate follow-ups and handoffs to the BD Manager when a lead shows interest in discussing a project.
- Prepare meeting briefs with background information on potential clients, their challenges, and how Johnston Engineering can help.
- Assist in developing outreach campaigns and refining prospecting strategies.
- Organize CRM data and track key performance indicators to inform business development strategies.
Requirements
- Strong research and analytical skills, with a knack for identifying trends in data.
- Detail-oriented and organized, experienced in managing a pipeline of multiple potential clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling emails and engaging conversations.
- Self-motivated and driven, able to work independently to achieve goals.
