Job Description
Churchill Living, a New York based provider of premium furniture rental and furnished housing, seeks a Director of Business Development to drive growth in this segment by building meaningful relationships with real estate agents, developers, builders, and property managers. The role focuses on promoting Churchill Living’s high-end furniture inventory to generate referrals and new business opportunities within the real estate and residential development community.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with real estate agents, property developers, builders, and residential property managers to generate referrals for furniture rental and furnished housing services.
- Promote Churchill Living’s premium furniture rental and corporate housing solutions.
- Attend real estate broker meetings, networking events, and industry gatherings to develop new partnerships.
- Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients and referral partners.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and referral sources.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to key clients.
- Represent Churchill Living at trade association meetings, real estate networking events, and industry functions.
- Coordinate and conduct home staging services using Churchill Living furniture for direct clients.
- Conduct apartment showings for prospective clients and guests.
- Present Churchill Living’s corporate apartments and furnished housing solutions to potential clients.
- Meet and greet guests upon move-in, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
Requirements
- Experience in sales, real estate, furniture sales, leasing, hospitality sales, or account management
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Comfortable attending industry networking events and sales meetings
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a business development mindset
