Job Description
Kestra Medical Technologies is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead the Baltimore-Washington DC sales region, guiding a talented team to win new business and manage key accounts. This onsite role in Baltimore, MD combines hands-on leadership with the flexibility of remote work and requires frequent travel across the region, with a compensation package up to USD 200,000 annually.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee sales activities for the assigned region, including planning, organizing, and executing sales programs.
- Analyze regional trends and report on insights to inform strategy.
- Manage Territory Manager performance by aligning them with regional and district expectations to drive results.
- Inspire and motivate the sales team through constructive leadership by example.
- Hire, educate, develop, and retain high-performing Territory Managers.
- Collaborate with Territory Managers in the field five days a week, with frequent overnight travel.
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts across the region in a professional and ethical manner.
- Consistently meet or exceed district objectives, including patient fits and booked revenue quotas.
- Contribute to profitability by managing discounts and expenses effectively.
- Reinforce field positioning of products and align with the positioning strategy.
- Communicate openly and share information with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Adhere to the Pledge of Confidentiality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cardiac and/or medical equipment sales.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Experience coaching sales models (e.g., Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a remote capacity when required.
- Documentation of vaccination and immunization status.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to review and follow hospital policies and procedures.
- Completion of online courses such as HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Electrical/Fire Safety.
- Previous people management experience in medical equipment sales.
- Proficiency with MS Office, MS Teams, and Salesforce.
