Job Description

Based in Draper, Utah with a hybrid work arrangement, the Sales Development Representative engages potential buyers, qualifies leads, and generates new business opportunities through multi-channel outreach, coordinating discovery calls for Account Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Generate awareness and interest for FranklinCovey through multi-touch outreach, including cold calls, emails, and social engagement to prospective customers.
  • Educate prospects on FranklinCovey's products, building high level business cases that connect solutions to customer goals and initiatives.
  • Identify buyer potential using a defined qualification framework.
  • Schedule initial discovery calls for Account Executives.
  • Meet or exceed daily activity minimums of 80 to 100 activities.
  • Manage your own book of accounts and establish a strategy for effective book management.
  • Provide constructive feedback to SDR Managers and Sales Enablement to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • 2+ years of experience in an inside sales position.
  • 2+ years of experience making outbound or cold calls.
  • Ability to ask insightful questions and solve problems across multiple channels.
  • High resilience with the ability to rebound from setbacks.
  • Growth minded with a collaborative mindset and willingness to tackle challenges.
  • Strong storyteller capable of clearly conveying business value to key customers.
  • Excellent work ethic, self-motivated with the initiative to overcome obstacles.
  • Extremely coachable and receptive to feedback.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Clari, Groove, Gong, and Sales Navigator.

Compensation

Salary: USD 76,000 - 77,000 per year
