Job Description

Sales Development Representative at Tenstreet in Tulsa, OK, in a hybrid remote/on-site environment, responsible for generating leads, outbound prospecting, guiding discovery, and booking demos for the Sales Team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial touchpoint for new business opportunities, primarily through outbound cold calls by phone.
  • Research and identify new prospects using a mix of online searches and industry-specific methods.
  • Move prospects through the top of the funnel by scheduling appointments for the sales team, with demos conducted online via Zoom or GoToMeeting.
  • Follow up with prospects who miss scheduled demos.
  • Reschedule demos for clients who cannot attend at the planned time.
  • Identify key decision makers within target organizations.
  • Keep Tenstreet's CRM and sales tools up to date with current information (Sugar CRM, SalesLoft, and related systems).
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and expand the sales pipeline.
  • Develop skills to perform at a high level as a sales development representative.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes or products that add value for clients.

Requirements

  • A self-starter who delivers results independently.
  • Comfortable with outbound cold calling to gather information for the sales team.
  • Strong phone communication and written communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Motivated by strong products and a product you can believe in.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as contribute as a collaborative team member.
  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding team environment.
  • Comfort in unstructured, ambiguous, fast-moving settings that require strategic action with limited information.
  • Resilience in facing obstacles and setbacks while pursuing ambitious goals.
  • Experience with SugarCRM and/or SalesLoft or similar sales tools.
