Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow an account base of Pet Specialty and Farm, Ranch & Home stores through a mix of in person and tele-sales visits.
- Drive sales velocity and distribution growth while strengthening Nulo’s reputation as a trusted business partner.
- Deliver effective sales presentations, product demonstrations, business reviews, and negotiate contracts to secure new business.
- Assist retailers with merchandising, purchasing, and replenishment planning.
- Represent the company at trade shows and conventions.
- Partner with distributor sales representatives to establish and service accounts.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on all Nulo product offerings to provide insightful and educational recommendations to retailers, distributors, and consumers.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in a high growth sales role; experience in CPG or the pet industry is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey product information and build rapport with clients.
- Competitive, goal oriented mindset focused on exceeding sales targets and outperforming competitors.
- Comfort with using data to drive strategic conversations with customers.
- Strong work ethic with dedication and persistence in achieving results and building partnerships.
- Collaborative, organized, tenacious, and self motivated work style.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with a CRM; Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Willingness to fly, travel overnight, and work evenings and weekends.
