The Sales Development Representative role at Wilshire Insure is a startup position in a tech driven insurtech brokerage focused on commercial auto insurance. No prior sales experience is required, and leads are provided to start your outreach.

Responsibilities

  • No pipeline to manage; the process is streamlined and direct.
  • No six month sales cycle.
  • No long-term lead nurturing across quarters.
  • Make conversations on the phone; the objective is to determine if we can save the prospect money.
  • If we achieve savings, the prospect signs.
  • All calls follow the same structure and outcome.
  • Leads are provided, targeted, with an approximate 32.7% connect rate.
  • A provided script guides the conversation; no guesswork required.

Requirements

  • Active P&C insurance license required; licensing is straightforward and most candidates are licensed within two weeks (18+).
  • Strong phone presence and reliable follow-through.
  • Self-motivated and performance-based role, not a salary position.
  • No prior sales experience necessary; comprehensive training is provided.
