Job Description
The Sales Director is responsible for building and executing a community sales strategy that supports sustainable occupancy growth, improved revenue performance, and stable long-term occupancy. This onsite role in Scottsdale, AZ leads sales from inquiry through move-in, coordinates closely with Operations for readiness and documentation, and develops a qualified prospect pipeline through referrals and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that drives sustainable occupancy growth, optimizes revenue, and sustains a pipeline of qualified prospects through effective lead management and conversion.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with referral partners, healthcare professionals, placement agencies, and community organizations to expand market presence and generate qualified referrals.
- Lead the sales process from inquiry through move-in, providing an exceptional customer experience while partnering with Operations to ensure apartment readiness, documentation completion, and a smooth resident transition.
- Review sales performance, occupancy trends, competitive activity, and market data to identify opportunities, refine sales strategies, improve conversion results, and support long-term occupancy stability.
- Maintain a consistently tour-ready community and accurate sales systems, ensuring the physical environment aligns with Spectrum brand standards while protecting the integrity of CRM data, forecasting, and sales reporting.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or commensurate experience.
- Senior living sales experience preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms, with the ability to accurately document, manage, and analyze sales activity and prospect information.
- Self-motivated and organized; able to work independently and solve problems.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with potential residents, current residents, placement agencies, and internal team members.
- Strong understanding of sales process management, lead nurturing, follow-up strategies, conversion metrics, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Customer service focused with a genuine passion for serving older adults and enhancing residents’ and families’ quality of life.
- Professional appearance, demeanor, and conduct that positively represent the community and organization.

- Salary: USD 4,500 per monthly
