Job Description
The Senior Sales Manager for Gas Turbine Filtration will lead growth of 2JCP’s Air Filtration business across the United States, owning U.S. sales strategy and order intake for filter replacement, upgrades, and retrofits. This is a quota-carrying role with an emphasis on winning orders within the first year.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the U.S. sales strategy for gas turbine inlet filtration, including target markets, key accounts, and annual order intake plans.
- Use an established network of gas turbine operators, utilities, independent power producers, EPC contractors, and OEMs to build a qualified pipeline and win orders within the first year.
- Achieve annual order intake and margin targets while maintaining an accurate, current sales forecast for leadership reviews.
- Build and run long-term key account strategies that increase 2JCP’s share of filter replacement, upgrade, and retrofit work across outage-driven and recurring opportunities.
- Track U.S. market conditions, competitor offerings, and pricing to inform a pricing strategy and competitive positioning.
- Lead major pursuits from qualification through negotiation and award, and manage the transition of awarded orders to project execution.
- Review and interpret customer specifications, drawings, and applicable industry standards, including ISO 29461, EN 1822, and ASHRAE 52.2, to define appropriate technical solutions.
- Prepare and approve high-quality technical and commercial proposals that meet customer and project requirements.
- Provide day-to-day mentoring and direction to the Sales Engineer, Gas Turbine Filtration, including joint customer visits, proposal reviews, and account planning.
- Contribute to U.S. business planning, including market analysis, staffing input, and sustainable margin objectives.
- Represent 2JCP at industry conferences, trade shows, user group meetings, and webinars, and support marketing initiatives focused on business growth.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, opportunities, and sales activity, ensuring pipeline data supports forecasting and business planning.
- Conduct site surveys and filter house condition assessments and contribute to technical reports and customer recommendations.
- Coordinate with project management, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams as needed to fulfill customer commitments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Sales Cycle and Stakeholder Management
- Manage the full sales cycle from pre-sales activities through deal closing to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including plant operators, maintenance teams, and procurement managers.
- Perform ongoing market analysis to identify new opportunities and stay aligned with trends in gas turbine operations and filtration needs.
CRM and Reporting
- Utilize CRM systems such as Salesforce Cloud to track sales activities, forecast revenue, and produce reports for senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management in gas turbine inlet filtration, gas turbine aftermarket products and services, or closely related power generation equipment.
- Established network among U.S. gas turbine operators, utilities, independent power producers, EPC contractors, or OEMs.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding order intake targets in the U.S. power generation or oil and gas markets.
- In-depth knowledge of gas turbine air inlet systems, filter types and media, and filter house configurations, plus familiarity with the competitive landscape and pricing in the U.S. filtration market.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Strong negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills, including technical proposal writing and presentations to technical and executive audiences.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work free of contractual restrictions (such as non-compete agreements) that would prevent selling gas turbine filtration products and services in the United States.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record; valid passport required for international travel.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- OSHA 10 preferred; background check required.
- Proven track record in technical sales within a corporate environment focused on enterprise software or industrial solutions.
- Strong understanding of computer networking, AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure cloud platforms, VMware virtualization technologies, and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Python scripting and Bash (Unix shell) for solution automation or technical support tasks is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in pre-sales activities including product demos, technical presentations, and solution engineering design.
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Skilled in project management and business development within technology-driven markets.
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce Cloud for managing customer data and sales pipelines.
- Ability to analyze technical requirements and create tailored solutions aligned with customer objectives.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on deal closing and revenue growth.
- Experience in a fast-paced corporate sales environment focused on solution sales for enterprise clients.
- Technical sales: 5 years (Required).
- Gas Turbine: 3 years (Required).
Location and Work Arrangement
- Jacksonville, Florida (U.S. hub); remote U.S.-based candidates will be considered.
- Jacksonville, FL 32256 (Preferred).

Travel Requirements
- Up to 50%, primarily domestic with periodic international travel.

Compensation
- $130,000 to $160,000 USD base salary per year, commensurate with experience.
- Participation in the company’s discretionary profit-sharing bonus, paid semiannually.
- Pay: $130,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Work is performed in an office setting, while traveling, and at customer power generation and industrial sites.
- Frequently required to sit for extended periods, including during air and road travel, and to use a computer and phone.
- During site visits, occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs or ladders, bend, stoop, and access filter houses and elevated platforms.
- Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather, heat, humidity, noise, dust, and moving mechanical equipment while on site.
- Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must follow site safety protocols and use required PPE.
