Job Description

Resource Environmental Solutions LLC invites you to join a role that blends relationship-building, strategic planning, and technical insight to accelerate Arkansas market development across transportation mitigation and water quality platforms. This remote role based in Fayetteville, AR includes regional travel to project sites, regulators, and partner events. You will support local natural channel restoration and mine reclamation projects while serving as the face of RES to clients, agencies, and industry partners, positioning RES as a trusted advisor across ecological restoration, water quality, and resilience solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect qualified opportunities, cultivate external relationships, and drive proposal development and deal structuring.
  • Monitor permitting timelines, dissect deal components, and coordinate cross-functional resources.
  • Represent RES in key client meetings and industry events.
  • Act as RES's primary representative to clients, agencies, and partners to identify and close opportunities in ecological restoration, water quality, and resilience solutions.
  • Travel regionally to project sites, meet regulators and clients, and represent RES at conferences and partner events.
  • Guide internal teams in shaping project pursuit strategies.
  • Deliver financial summaries to clients and move deals from concept to execution.
  • Bridge RES capabilities with market opportunities to move deals from idea to execution.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Environmental Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in a related industry with complex solutions and multi-year sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience structuring deals and assessing their financial health.
  • Experience with contracts and key provisions; awareness of legal considerations in deal structuring.
  • Experience in multi-year sales to several stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting ecological restoration projects via CWA, NGO, and/or Public Works.

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Experience with environmental regulations and permits/approvals such as CWA 404/402/401, NWP/IP, NPDES, ESA.
  • Knowledge of stream and wetland design and construction methods.
  • Relationships with local, state, and federal regulators in your region.
  • Experience reviewing and preparing regulatory documents and addressing agency comments.
  • Experience with science, design, and/or construction of wetlands.
