Job Description

Helm AG is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead the Crop Protection sales team from our onsite base in Tampa, Florida. The role combines hands-on sales leadership with regional P&L responsibility and close alignment to national directives across traditional crop protection products and biological offerings. You will also participate in the EU-NA leadership circle to help shape strategy for the US Crop Solutions business.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Management: identify, onboard, and nurture top-performing sales representatives to sustain a high-caliber team.
  • Strategic Partnership: partner with senior leaders at regional strategic customers to design and execute joint business plans while strengthening relationships.
  • Revenue Growth: drive sales objectives and profitability in line with financial targets through forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Communication & Coordination: ensure clear internal communication on business metrics and directives across Helm Crop Solutions.
  • Competitive Strategy: monitor competitor activity and craft responsive strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with other departments to implement key customer-facing initiatives.
  • Leadership Team Contributions: serve on the EU-NA leadership team, influencing strategy for the US Crop Solutions business.
  • National Alignment: coordinate regional initiatives for major customer accounts in accordance with national directives.
  • Training & Development: design and deliver training programs to boost the sales team’s capabilities in new products and market trends.
  • Customer Insights: establish systems to gather and analyze customer feedback to drive product and service improvements.
  • Expense Management: oversee regional budgeting and forecasting to ensure sales targets are achieved.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in agricultural business and sales, with preference for crop protection products and value-added technologies.
  • Detail-oriented, results-focused self-starter with excellent follow-up and execution capabilities.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable business growth.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the aptitude to identify customer solutions.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Outstanding organizational and analytical skills.
