Sales/Business Development Representative

Home Helpers of WV, VA, & MD is seeking a seasoned Sales/Business Development Representative to drive growth across West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland. Based in Winchester, this on-site role focuses on generating leads, cultivating referral relationships, and expanding the home care client base throughout the tri-state area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with hospitals, rehab centers, assisted living communities, physicians, social workers, and other referral sources across WV, VA, and MD.
• Qualify and close leads that become long-term home care clients.
• Plan and host community events, lunch-and-learns, and networking opportunities.
• Manage your schedule and territory, taking ownership of activity and results.
• Submit weekly reports and track progress with referral sources.
• Represent the agency in the community as a warm, professional, and persuasive advocate.
• Utilize CMR, EMR, and AI tools, and quickly adapt to new systems and processes.

Requirements

• Background in sales, marketing, or business development, or a marketing-related bachelor's degree.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license; this is a field-based role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work full-time and submit weekly reports.
• Healthcare or senior care experience is a plus but not required.
• Veteran status preferred.
• Willingness to travel for conferences, training, and coaching by industry professionals.
• Pass all background and drug screenings and maintain a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• An associate's degree with a bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to work outside standard daytime hours as needed.

Compensation

Salary ranges from USD 45,000 to 55,000 per year.
