Position Overview
Responsible for developing and fostering group business bookings through proactive direct sales, telemarketing, appointment calls, industry networking events, and hotel tours. Achieve established monthly room night and activity goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage an established regional territory or vertical market segment.
- Apply a clear understanding of the hotelโs business strategies and goals to determine action plans.
- Identify new business opportunities to grow our group bookings.
- Provide quick and timely responses to develop professional long-term business relationships.
- Deliver the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
- Respond to RFPs, draft proposals, contracts, and all modifications to documents.
- Maintain accounts and bookings in the property booking software.
- Collaborate closely with the Conference Services Department to meet customer requirements.
- Attend Sales meetings and other hotel department and client meetings as required.
- Submit activity and booking reports to the Director of Sales as required.
