The Sales Development Representative role is based in Nashville, Tennessee, operating in a hybrid remote capacity. The position focuses on prospecting, qualifying, and managing a multi-channel sales pipeline while partnering with account executives to drive pipeline generation and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage a personal pipeline of prospects from initial outreach through qualification.
- Execute outbound prospecting strategies using phone, email, social media, and events.
- Respond to inbound leads with urgency, conducting deeper qualification conversations.
- Research accounts to understand key stakeholders, challenges, and buying signals.
- Collaborate with account executives to develop account-specific entry strategies.
- Schedule and participate in prospect meetings or demos, ensuring smooth handoffs. Track activity, conversion rates, and pipeline health in the CRM.
- Use AI-powered tools and market data to prioritize outreach and craft personalized messaging.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation targets. Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality and campaign performance.
Requirements
- Ability to commute to and work in our Nashville, TN office.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or inside sales.
- Track record of consistently achieving or surpassing lead-to-opportunity conversion targets.
- Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
- You have strong communication and discovery skills, with experience engaging prospects across multiple channels.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding prospecting or pipeline generation targets. Ability to research accounts, uncover prospect needs, and tailor messaging accordingly.
- A growing proficiency in applying AI and analytics to refine prospecting, improve conversion, and manage pipeline health.
- Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce.com preferred) and sales engagement platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to balance prospecting volume with quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with account executives and marketing teams.
- Must reside in the United States and have a valid U.S. address for residence.
