Rise Modular is expanding its West Coast sales presence with a Sales Manager focused on business development across California, Washington, and Oregon. The role centers on identifying and advancing modular construction opportunities, with a emphasis on wood-frame Type III and Type V projects, while building durable relationships with developers, owners, investors, general contractors, and public-sector stakeholders. This onsite position in Los Angeles offers a salary range of USD 115,000 to 140,000 per year, with a bachelorβs degree preferred.

Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new development opportunities on the West Coast where Rise Modularβs products and services fit well
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of developers, owners, investors, contractors, and municipal contacts
- Generate new business through outreach, networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic relationship building
- Position Rise Modular as a preferred partner for volumetric modular construction solutions
- Articulate Riseβs value in terms of schedule acceleration, cost predictability, quality, scalability, and sustainability
- Track market activity including housing initiatives, entitlement activity, RFPs, and development trends
- Support relationship development with city housing departments, planning agencies, and public-sector stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal design, engineering, estimating, and preconstruction teams to pursue projects
- Assist in developing proposals, presentations, feasibility studies, and client-facing materials
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline tracking, and forecasting data
- Represent Rise Modular at industry conferences, trade associations, housing events, and networking functions across the territory
- Provide regular reports on pipeline activity, opportunities, meetings, and market conditions
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Real Estate, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field is preferred
- Proven success in business development, sales, account management, construction, real estate development, or a related field
- Understanding of the real estate development and construction lifecycle including entitlements, permitting, financing, and project delivery
- Familiarity with West Coast housing and development markets, especially California
- Strong relationship-building, networking, and consultative sales skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Valid driverβs license and willingness to travel throughout California, Washington, and Oregon

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in modular, prefab, off-site construction, construction services, or CRE industries
- Existing relationships within development, construction, or housing sectors
- Familiarity with affordable housing programs including LIHTC and public funding structures
- Experience with CRE and development research platforms such as CoStar, Crexi, Reonomy, or Dodge
- Experience supporting RFP/RFQ pursuits
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
